Cheers and Jeers
This is my Cheers and Jeers page which is a page where I make comments about my dealings with various companies. The good experiences I have when dealing with companies and businesses from small to large will be documented on this page and the bad experiences I have will also be documented here. You may consider these for what they are worth and use your own judgment regarding dealing with these companies. If a company reads this page, finds that they do not like my comments regarding their services rendered and want a Jeer removed, all they have to do is correct the problem to my satisfaction and I will give them a credit for that on my page and then archive the Jeer!
Not only is Jerry's a dealership where you can get a good deal in a Nissan Titan, their service facility is top notch with highly trained service writers and mechanics who take care of the customer. Nissan built a really good truck when they built their Titan line, but like any mechanical device, sometimes things break and service is required. They have really stood behind their warranty contract, provided excellent customer service, even provided a rental when they would have to keep the truck for more than 24 hours. I have a salesman at Jerry's, Rick Mitchell, who has now sold us nine vehicles since we started doing business with Jerry's (an hour drive from my house!). He really works for his repeat customers and comes up with deals that are very fair! Rick is the top salesman on the pre-owned lot but he can also sell new. If you decide to give Rick a call, be sure to tell him that I recommended him to you. They also sell GM and Toyota vehicles.
JEERS to Emerson Mobile
They will not stand behind their claimed warranty. Almost one year ago I purchased an Emerson Mobile video monitor to use in a rear view CCTV system on my truck. After only three months of use, a black "hole" appeared on the screen that was, at first, only a few pixels but finally grew to the size of a quarter. This "dead" area of the LCD is almost in the center of the screen. After four attempts to obtain warranty coverage within the one year warranty period, I gave up! The repeatedly told me to send them an email to a certain address and I would receive warranty coverage. This was just a lie to get me off their customer service warranty phone line. I even sent them digital photos to show them what was happening. I never received and answer to any of my emails! Do not purchase their equipment if you don't like dealing with companies that don't stand behind their products!
Jeers to Sears and their credit policies!
They cancelled my 34+ year credit account that had never had a late payment and had no outstanding balance, based on an erroneous credit report, and did not bother to tell me about the cancellation until we decided to purchase a new refrigerator after receiving an advertised special promotion in the mail. We got the unit but not without a fight and they then said our account was closed and no longer useable. We had bought numerous Sears appliances, exercise equipment, and hand and yard tools from them over the years. I now go elsewhere for those items!

They did the same thing that Sears did to me, cancelled my credit without bothering to tell me until I tried to pay for an order using the card. This was based on the same flawed credit report!
Jeers to Washington Mutual Bank (WAMU)
They are the ones who caused my credit report to be screwed up by filing a report that said I had not made payments on a credit card account that belonged to my daughter. They filed on me because of my daughter! Go figure! They have been notified by my daughter several times that they filled an erroneous report but they refuse to remove the hit on my credit. I have NEVER dealt with this bank and will never deal with this bank in the future because of this!
